Our first day of our wonderful 5 Days Cairo Tour begins the moment you arrive at Cairo Airport, where you'll find one of our representatives waiting for you, holding a sign bearing our company logo, "Egypt Online Tours."

Immediately outside the arrivals hall, you'll be whisked away in our modern, air-conditioned vehicle, directly to your hotel in the heart of Cairo.

On your second day of your wonderful 5 days Cairo tour itinerary, you will experience the dream of grandeur with us and emulate the lives of the world's greats. Your day will begin with a delicious Egyptian breakfast, which will energize you for a day filled with wonder and contemplation. Our 5-day cairo tour itinerary will be as follows:

First Stop: The Great Pyramids of Giza

These legendary pyramids, which have stood tall for more than 4,500 years, are the only remaining wonder of the ancient world! You will visit:

• The Pyramid of Khufu - the Great Pyramid, originally 147 meters high, uses 2.3 million stone blocks with an average weight of 2.5 tons per block. It is believed to have taken 20 years to build, using primitive tools and massive human power.
• The Pyramid of Khafre - slightly smaller, is approximately 4,500 years old and originally stood at 143.5 meters. Its current height is 136 meters due to the erosion of the outer layer by weathering over the centuries. It features a 53.1-degree incline and an entrance leading to a descending passage with a 22-degree incline, connected to the Valley Temple of Khafre, adjacent to the Great Sphinx. 
• The Pyramid of Menkaure - the youngest of the three, built in the 26th century BC (c. 2500 BC), is over 4,500 years old. It was originally 65.5 meters high, but was reduced to 62 meters after the loss of its outer limestone and granite cladding. Its lower part was constructed with pink granite from Aswan, while the rest of the structure was made of limestone. It also houses the largest funerary temple in the Giza complex.

Next: The Great Sphinx

This legendary creature with the body of a lion and the face of King Khafre has stood guard for thousands of years. It is mysterious, majestic, and perfect for a great selfie.

It is 73 meters long, 20 meters high, and 19 meters wide. It was eroded by wind and sand, and its nose was lost before the 18th century, contrary to the popular legend about Napoleon's soldiers. 

A stela of Thutmose IV (1400 BC) was found between the statue's claws, which tells of the Sphinx promising to rule if he removed the sand.

Next stop: Saqqara Step Pyramid and the Tombs of Memphis

We then proceed to Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, built around 2650 BC. This is not just any pyramid; it is the first monumental stone structure in Egyptian history. 

Here, you will witness the beginning of the pyramid-building tradition.

It consists of six terraced terraces, 62 meters high, and a rectangular base (125.27 m x 109.12 m).

The pyramid is surrounded by a massive wall containing courtyards and ritual buildings, such as the Valley Temple, making it the first complete funerary complex in history. A granite sarcophagus of the king was found inside, but his mummy has yet to be discovered.

Memphis

Memphis was the capital of ancient Egypt and is located near Saqqara. Some of the most notable tombs in Memphis are:

• Mereruka's Tomb (Sixth Dynasty)
• Kagemni's Tomb

• Tutankhamun Hall: It houses 5,398 pieces of the young king's treasures, the most famous of which is the golden mask (11 kg of gold) inlaid with precious stones, the gilded coronation throne, and the royal jewelry boxes.

Next: Saladin Citadel
