Our last breakfast on board the Dahabiya, bidding farewell to the Nile with mixed feelings of gratitude and amazement.

We'll head to one of the greatest temples in the world, built by Ramses II:

The facade features colossal statues of Ramses, carved into the mountain, and behind them are mysteries and engineering techniques that dazzle the world.
We'll also visit the Temple of Nefertari, his beautiful wife, built with love evident in every stone!
Afterwards, we'll return to Aswan and board our flight back to Cairo.
Our representative will be waiting for you at the airport and take you to your hotel to relax after a long and emotional day.

Good morning from Cairo. Today, on our tenth day, our destination will be Alexandria.
After a light breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up in his private car to begin your adventure in a city full of magic and romance: Alexandria, the Bride of the Mediterranean.
First Stop: The Great Library of Alexandria
Upon arrival, your tour will begin at the Library of Alexandria, which is not only the largest library in the world with over 8 million books, but it is also an architectural masterpiece.
Outside the library, you'll see the statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy I, which were raised from underwater. This is a must-see for some memorable photos against the dazzling architectural backdrop.
If you'd like to enter the main reading room, you can purchase a ticket and enjoy a unique experience surrounded by books from all the world's languages and cultures.
The Roman Amphitheater – Underwater Antiquities
Next, you'll visit the Roman Amphitheater, which has preserved its Roman-era form. It also features a display of underwater antiquities that will truly make you feel as if you've stepped back in time.
St. Mark's Church – The Oldest Church in Africa
You'll then visit St. Mark's Church, the oldest church on the continent, with a rich spiritual and ancient history.
Downtown Tour – Alexandria of the Past
The car will take you to the old city center, where you will:
Walking through the popular markets, smelling the sweet kahk and basbousa.
And seeing Italian and French-style buildings, as if you were on a street in Paris or Naples.
Mosque of the Prophet Daniel – The Legend
You will visit the Mosque of the Prophet Daniel, where many people say Alexander the Great is buried.
It also houses the tomb of Sidi Luqman the Wise, a storyteller who recounted religious stories from One Thousand and One Nights.
Optional Lunch Stop – Fish or Fava Beans? If you're hungry, you have two choices:
A modern fish restaurant with a sea view
Or the popular "Mohamed Ahmed" restaurant, which the Queen of Spain herself visited for authentic Egyptian fava beans and ta'ameya.
Mansheya - The Women's and Gold Market
Then pass by the Mansheya area, the oldest market in Alexandria, and see:
Zenkat al-Setat, a narrow street where every shop tells a story
The Gold Market, the place where every Alexandrian bride buys her wedding ring
Abu al-Abbas Mosque - The King of Mosques
Then visit the most beautiful and largest mosque in Alexandria:
Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque, built in a magical Moroccan style!
Outside the mosque, you'll find an old-fashioned amusement park... children laughing, eating girls' hair, and riding wooden horses from the old days.
The Corniche, boats, and magic
Stroll along the seafront and see:
Fishermen throwing nets
Colorful wooden boats
Men mending their nets by hand
This place is a treasure trove of photos. Take unforgettable photos and memories.
Qaitbay Citadel - on the ruins of the world's lighthouse
Then pass Qaitbay Citadel from outside - built on the site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Here, your photos will turn out epic against the backdrop of the sea and the citadel.
Garden El-Montaza - A paradise for lovers
Finally, you'll reach Montazah Palace and Garden - 25 km from downtown. On the way, you can pause for a moment:
Drink fresh mango juice from the "King of Mangoes."
Picture yourself at the Unknown Soldier Memorial
And in the park:
Walking among the royal trees
Seeing the Harem and Selamlik Palaces
Sit on Tea Palace Island
And admiring the beaches of the Queens.

Morning in Alexandria
Have breakfast and get ready for a relaxing and special day, seemingly simple, but full of secrets in its details. Our guide will take you in a private car, and together we will head to the city of Rashid, about 60 km from Alexandria. Rashid is a city that thrives on the tranquility of the Nile and the kindness of its people, and has a rich history spanning hundreds of years.
First Stop: A Nile Boat Trip
Once you arrive, you board a small boat on the Nile, And here the real journey begins:
You reach the point where the Nile meets the Mediterranean...a rare moment, when you feel like you're standing at a gateway between two worlds.
You will see the citadel where the famous Rosetta Stone was found in 1799—the stone that deciphered the Pharaonic civilization.
The view is breathtaking and deserves many photos.
Next - Islamic Rashid
Walking through narrow streets and red-brick houses, you'll visit:
Mosques and historic madrasas from the Ottoman era
Old Islamic houses with stained glass and carved wooden windows
Rashid has preserved its authentic identity, giving it a charm unlike any other city.
Rashid is all about taste and smell. If you're interested, you can stop and try:
Fresh local food made with love
Popular sweets like kahk, ghriba, and mushabbak
And visit small markets offering handicrafts, herbs, and authentic Rashidi honey
Return to Cairo
After experiencing the tranquility and beauty of Rashid, you'll return with your guide in a private car to your hotel in Cairo.
