Amazing Egyptian vacation! We did an 11 day private tour of Cairo, cruise on the Nile between Aswan and Luxor and a 4 day stay in Hurghada. The guided tours were very interesting, with extremely knowledgeable guides, attentive and helpful.

Practical answers to the questions travelers ask before they book: when to go, what to pack, money, visas and staying well.
October to April is the most comfortable season for temples and Nile cruises. Summer is hot in the south, but Cairo, Alexandria and the Red Sea still work.
Comfort for sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan
Ramadan moves with the lunar calendar. Opening hours and meal times can change during the month, so check the dates for your travel year before you book.
Most packages connect Cairo with Luxor and Aswan. Each card shows how you travel between cities, by flight or by overnight train.
Every card shows nights in each place and how you travel between cities, so you can compare packages side by side.
Pack light, loose clothing that covers shoulders and knees, plus shoes you can walk in all day.
Pack light. Smaller bags are easier on flights and trains.
Egypt runs on cash outside hotels and big shops. Keep small notes for tips and snacks.
Bargaining is normal in markets and bazaars. Hotels, museums and temples have fixed prices.
Most visitors need a visa. The right option depends on your passport, so check the current rule before you fly.
Rules change, and holding the right visa is the traveler's responsibility. Ask your travel advisor if you need help with the documents.
A few habits make a big difference: drink bottled water, avoid the midday sun and keep valuables in the hotel safe.
On a private tour your guide stays with you, so ask them anything that feels unclear.

Yes. Every package price includes the domestic flights and the overnight sleeper train that the itinerary uses between Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and the Red Sea, plus the airport meet-and-assist and private transfers at each end. International flights to Egypt are not included.
The land part is private: your own Egyptologist guide and an air-conditioned vehicle for your group only on every sightseeing day. When the itinerary includes a Nile cruise, the ship itself is shared with other passengers, with full board and the temple visits between Luxor and Aswan included.
Every package starts in Cairo with the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Most continue to Luxor and Aswan by Nile cruise, flight or sleeper train. Depending on the itinerary you can add Abu Simbel, Alexandria, Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, Siwa Oasis or the White Desert.
