Then, as we approach Pompay's Pillar, a magnificent structure erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian during the late 4th century, we will take a moment to capture a memorable photo.

The next destination is the library of Alexandria, renowned as the largest library in the world, currently housing over eight million books. One can admire the statue of Alexander the Great alongside the statue of Ptolemy the first, which was discovered submerged in its open court. Next, we'll make our way to the renowned Manuscripts Museum, President Sadat Museum, and the captivating Alexandria Museum.

Please be aware that the Library of Alexandria is not open on Fridays and during public holidays. Additionally, to gain access to the reading area, a ticket must be purchased.

once visiting the museums and their collections, the vehicle will continue towards the St. Mark Church, a historic landmark that holds the title of being the oldest church in all of Africa. While on the drive, you'll have the opportunity to see the charming old downtown area and admire the local historical architecture, which features a mix of Italian and French influences, including beautiful baroque-style designs.

Next, our tour will take us to El Nabi Daniel Mosque, which is thought to have a connection to the tomb of Alexander the Great. According to popular belief, the Mosque is believed to house the final resting place of a renowned scholar, Prophet Daniel, and his esteemed companion, Sidi Lokman al Hakim, who was known for his captivating religious narratives.

Following that, you may consider having lunch at Mohamed Ahmed's, a renowned and authentic eatery in Alexandria. After lunch, we will be heading towards the most notable and visually appealing mosque in the city, known as the Abo Al Abbas Mosque. Outside the mosque, you'll come across a unique sight - an old funfair where children have a great time riding antique funfair attractions and trying out candy floss. Contrarily, one can discover the corniche and the old harbor of Alexandria, where scenes of men fishing on vintage fishing boats and traditional fishermen crafting nets can be observed. You'll find some truly remarkable photographs here.

Next, we will visit the Castle of Qaitbay, a remarkable structure constructed on the historic grounds of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. This magnificent castle holds great historical significance as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Explore the castle's interior and ascend to the roof for a breathtaking view of the entire city.

Next, the car will make its way to the Montazah Gardens and the Palaces. During your journey, make sure to make a pit stop at the King of Mango to indulge in their refreshing juices.
