As soon as you arrive at Cairo International Airport, our team will welcome you and take care of all the passport and baggage procedures.
After that, you’ll take an air-conditioned car to your hotel near the pyramids, where you can relax and walk around the large hotel bar or unwind by the pool and get ready for the beginning of the trip.

Wadi El Natron
Wadi El Natron is a totally different place than anything you've seen before.
The journey feels like a gentle escape — a road wrapped in stillness, leading you into a world untouched by time. Once you arrive, the guide will tell you the story of the place and how it became a refuge for Christians after Saint Macarius the Great chose to live here alone back in 360 AD.
There were once more than 60 monasteries in the valley, but now only 4 remain. The quietness there makes you hear your own thoughts. You’ll see monks living their day in simplicity and spirituality.

Our first stop today is one of the strangest and most beautiful surprises buried underground: the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa.
Just imagine going down a spiral staircase that takes you to a whole other world! These tombs go back to the Roman era and were discovered by accident in 1900 when a donkey was walking and suddenly fell into a hole – and that hole turned out to be a great archaeological discovery!
What’s strange about this place is that it mixes 3 cultures: Roman, Greek, and Egyptian.

After breakfast, we’ll head to Cairo Airport and board the flight that will take us to this magical and historical city.
Once we arrive, we’ll go directly to the Nile cruise boat, where we’ll spend the next four nights.

Valley of the Kings
Imagine someone tells you that you’ll walk through the place where the Pharaohs themselves buried their kings—wouldn’t you be excited? Of course! And that’s exactly what we’ll experience together in the Valley of the Kings, the place hiding beneath its ground more than 60 tombs of ancient Egyptian kings and princes.
We’ll start our tour by visiting the tomb of King Tutankhamun, the young Pharaoh whose tomb became world-famous because of the treasures found inside in amazing condition.
We’ll go down into the tomb and see the sarcophagus ourselves, along with the walls full of stunning paintings that explain the journey of the dead to the afterlife.

On your way back from the temple, you’ll stand before two gigantic statues, each nearly 18 meters tall! The Colossi of Memnon—or as they’re called, "the silent guardians"—have been waiting for you in Upper Egypt for thousands of years.
They were once part of a grand temple that vanished with time, but the two statues remained, as if they’re saying: "We’ve been here since the days of glory."
The guide will tell you about the legend of “the singing statue of Memnon,” which says that one of them used to make a sound every day at sunrise.
People from ancient times would come just to hear it. Many scholars said the sound was due to cracks caused by earthquakes, but people held on to the legend.

Day 8: Imagine wandering through ancient temples by day
A new morning we’re living while still on our beautiful boat in the middle of Upper Egypt’s Nile. Today we’ll wake up while docked near the city of Edfu, and you’ll have the chance to go down and walk around the city if you like, or just sit back and enjoy the sun and calm on the deck.
After that, we’ll continue our journey on the Nile, passing by stunning scenery between desert and greenery on the riverbanks, until we reach the amazing Kom Ombo Temple, which is built right on the edge of the river as if you’re standing in a real ancient panorama.
By the end of the day, we’ll arrive at lovely Aswan, just like that, after a long day full of magic and history. Let’s begin the day’s details together...
Kom Ombo Temple: Two Stories in One Temple
This place is unlike any temple you’ll visit because it brings together two totally different gods! As soon as you arrive, you’ll see the temple standing tall on the Nile’s edge, as if it’s been watching the water for thousands of years.
The temple was built in 181 BC, and it was dedicated to the god “Horus,” the symbol of protection, and “Sobek,” the god of fertility, who was compared to crocodiles.
Each god has his own half of the temple – north and south – and every corner is full of details telling stories about the beliefs and life of ancient Egyptians.
One of the most fascinating things you’ll see is the Crocodile Museum, where they found real mummified crocodiles buried near Sobek’s part of the temple – a sign of how much they respected nature and linked it to religion.

Philae Temple: Island of Magic and Gods
Our first stop in the morning will be on Agilkia Island, and there you’ll find the Philae Temple, which was completely moved from its original location after the water almost drowned it, and it was saved in one of the greatest archaeological relocation operations in the world.
This temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis, the symbol of love and loyalty for the ancient Egyptians, and the whole place has a unique energy.
While you're there, you’ll feel like you're in a real historical movie. The drawings on the walls still have visible colors, and the decorations and inscriptions tell stories of love, wars, and gods.

Day 10: Set off on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to Abu Simbel
Today will be one of the unforgettable days of the trip! We’re heading to one of the greatest Pharaonic temples in Egypt, Abu Simbel.
But this time, no rushing… we’ll spend the night there and live each moment calmly, admire the grand temples, and enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Nasser.
And there’s also a lovely surprise in the evening… the sound and light show among the giant statues!

As soon as you wake up, a lovely Egyptian breakfast will be waiting for you at a hotel overlooking Lake Nasser… you might find fava beans, falafel, and cheese salad, or you can go for lighter options like yogurt with honey and fruit – all while sitting on a refreshing terrace.
Abu Simbel Temple
As soon as we arrive at Abu Simbel, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a huge historical movie.
The temples are carved into the mountain, and the gigantic statues of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari stand as if they’re still guarding the place for thousands of years! These statues reach up to 20 meters high, and every detail in them tells of the power and majesty of the Pharaohs.
Your tour leader will be with you and will explain everything about the temples – from their history, to why they were built, all the way to the amazing rescue mission when they were saved from flooding after the construction of the High Dam – moved block by block and rebuilt at this new location.

Wadi El Natron
Wadi El Natron is a totally different place than anything you've seen before.
The journey feels like a gentle escape — a road wrapped in stillness, leading you into a world untouched by time. Once you arrive, the guide will tell you the story of the place and how it became a refuge for Christians after Saint Macarius the Great chose to live here alone back in 360 AD.
There were once more than 60 monasteries in the valley, but now only 4 remain. The quietness there makes you hear your own thoughts. You’ll see monks living their day in simplicity and spirituality.

What’s strange about this place is that it mixes 3 cultures: Roman, Greek, and Egyptian.

Kom Ombo Temple: Two Stories in One Temple
This place is unlike any temple you’ll visit because it brings together two totally different gods! As soon as you arrive, you’ll see the temple standing tall on the Nile’s edge, as if it’s been watching the water for thousands of years.
The temple was built in 181 BC, and it was dedicated to the god “Horus,” the symbol of protection, and “Sobek,” the god of fertility, who was compared to crocodiles.
Each god has his own half of the temple – north and south – and every corner is full of details telling stories about the beliefs and life of ancient Egyptians.
One of the most fascinating things you’ll see is the Crocodile Museum, where they found real mummified crocodiles buried near Sobek’s part of the temple – a sign of how much they respected nature and linked it to religion.

Our first stop in the morning will be on Agilkia Island, and there you’ll find the Philae Temple, which was completely moved from its original location after the water almost drowned it, and it was saved in one of the greatest archaeological relocation operations in the world.
This temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis, the symbol of love and loyalty for the ancient Egyptians, and the whole place has a unique energy.

This would’ve been the largest obelisk in ancient Egypt if it had been completed, but unfortunately, work on it was abandoned halfway.
When you stand before the obelisk, you’ll feel the greatness of the pharaohs in planning and engineering, and we’ll see how those grand ideas were actually being brought to life.

Elephantine Island and the Felucca Ride
After a short break in Aswan, we’ll spend the afternoon on a different kind of journey along the Nile.
We’ll ride a traditional felucca and sail to Elephantine Island—the island once believed to be the home of the god Khnum, guardian and controller of the Nile’s waters.
You’ll walk around and observe local life, in a calm and beautiful natural setting. And here begins the real beauty of the journey—with sunset drinks on the felucca. The view is indescribable, and the feeling stays with you for a long time.
Traditional Nubian Dinner
After the magical sunset, we’ll disembark at a small Nubian village where we’ll enjoy a traditional dinner with a local family.
You’ll try authentic Nubian dishes that will make you feel the warmth and hospitality Nubians are famous for. Beyond the food, you’ll hear stories and tales from the local people and learn about their simple and beautiful way of life.

Khan El Khalili
Khan El Khalili is the oldest and most famous market in Egypt, and the place where you can truly feel the spirit of Cairo.
The market has been around since the 14th century and is made up of narrow alleys full of shops selling everything you can imagine – from brass lanterns, handmade crafts, and leather, to silver, oriental perfumes, and colorful, aromatic spices that awaken your senses.
While walking through the alleys, you'll see craftsmen working with their hands and shop owners calling out to customers in a uniquely Egyptian cheerful way.
If you love photography, every corner here could be a painting. After wandering around, you'll stop at El Fishawy Cafe – the oldest café in Cairo – which has been welcoming guests for 250 years.
Ibn Tulun Mosque
Step into one of Cairo’s timeless landmarks — a mosque that’s stood tall since 879 AD, echoing over 1100 years of history and faith.
As you enter through its gate, you’ll immediately feel awe and serenity, and you’ll marvel at the vast interior space, the high arches, and the massive columns supporting the large roof.
Everything in this place is designed with brilliant engineering, and the most beautiful part is the spiral minaret, which you can climb for an incredible panoramic view of Old Cairo.
The mosque isn’t just a place for prayer – it’s an architectural masterpiece representing the Tulunid era. It features rare architectural details like gypsum decorations and old wooden doors.

Gayer-Anderson Museum
This museum is made up of two historical houses connected together, forming a rich museum full of strange and unique artifacts. The house itself is an architectural gem, but once you step inside, you’ll be even more amazed than you imagined.
The rooms are designed in Ottoman, Moroccan, Persian, and even Indian styles, each decorated with the highest level of taste – from the ornate ceilings, carved doors, to rare furniture.
You’ll find collections like ancient weapons, books and manuscripts, oriental carpets, and rare art pieces. Gayer-Anderson, who lived in this house, was a British officer who loved Egypt so much he decided to live there and collect every artifact he could..
Lunch? Real Authentic Koshary!
After a day full of walking and sightseeing, we need a proper food stop – and nothing hits the spot like Egypt’s most beloved street food: Koshary! We’ll head to a famous, long-standing koshary place and order a big bowl packed with all the good stuff: lentils, pasta, rice, chickpeas, crispy onions, and incredible sauces like tomato sauce, garlic vinegar, and chili.
Just the smell will make your mouth water! What’s even better is that this dish is simple yet super filling, and its flavor takes you back to the good old days when everything was handmade with love by an Egyptian housewife.
Try it your own way – add as much chili as you want – but be careful… eating koshary in Egypt comes with its own special rituals you’ll want to enjoy to the fullest!
Dinner with Locals
Tonight is something totally different. Instead of heading to a restaurant, we’re going to an Egyptian family’s home.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel like you're with your own relatives. They’ll greet you warmly and invite you to a table full of the most delicious home-cooked dishes: molokhia, mahshi, potato casserole, grilled chicken, vermicelli rice, and fresh Egyptian salad made with love.

Wadi El Rayan: Egypt’s Only Waterfall!
Our first stop will be Wadi El Rayan, a stunning natural protectorate that connects two large lakes through waterfalls — and these are the only natural waterfalls in Egypt!
The view there is breathtaking, and it’s the perfect spot for anyone who loves photography or wants to enjoy a moment of peace in the heart of nature.
We’ll walk around the lakes, watch the birds that live in the area, and if you're lucky, you might spot some wild animals from afar.
The valley is also known for its golden sands and strange rock formations, and you’ll feel like you’re on another planet.
The atmosphere is clean, the air is fresh, and there’s a feeling of freedom as if you’ve disconnected from the noise and chaos. If you love relaxing, just sit on a rock by the water, take a deep breath... that moment will stay with you.
Whale Valley: Secrets of the Whales That Used to Walk on Land!
After finishing our tour in Wadi El Rayan, we’ll hop into a 4WD vehicle and head to a place that’s truly world-class: Wadi Al-Hitan, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Imagine walking in a desert, but beneath your feet are the fossil remains of whales that lived here 40 million years ago!
In Whale Valley, we’ll learn one of the strangest stories in the planet’s history... how whales, which we now see living in the sea, once lived on land!
We’ll see rare fossils, including the fully intact skeleton of the largest whale called Basilosaurus isis – and this one doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world!
After that, we’ll visit the Fossil and Climate Change Museum at the site. It’s a modern and engaging museum that displays these rare fossils and explains in a simple way the evolution of creatures and the climate changes over the years.
Having your lunch surrounded by golden sands!
After our long tour, we’ve got to stop and take a proper break! But today’s lunch isn’t ordinary... it’s a real desert meal, served in the middle of the sand and mountains, with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in an adventure movie.
We’ll all sit together on a traditional mat, and the dishes will start coming one after the other: seasoned rice, grilled meat or chicken on coal, fresh green salad, local bread, and delicious tahini. And the best part? The Bedouin tea made on charcoal... its taste is something else!
