Jerash is situated on a picturesque plain, enveloped by lush hills and fertile basins. General Pompey conquered it in 63 BC, and it later fell under Roman rule, becoming one of the ten great Roman cities of the Decapolis League.

The city flourished during Roman rule, earning the name Gerasa. Today, it is widely recognized as one of the most well-preserved Roman provincial towns globally. For centuries, Jerash lay hidden beneath the sand until it was carefully unearthed and brought back to life over the course of 70 years. Today, Jerash stands as a remarkable testament to the grand and sophisticated Roman urban design that can be seen across the Middle East. Its streets are paved and lined with columns, its temples sit majestically atop hills, and its theaters are truly impressive. The city also boasts expansive public squares and plazas, as well as baths, fountains, and fortified walls with towering gates. Jerash, with its Graeco-Roman influence, beautifully combines elements from both the East and the West. The architecture, religion

Petra, a truly remarkable site, is undoubtedly one of Jordan's most precious gems and a top destination for travelers. This incredible city is a true marvel, with its impressive architecture carved into the rock face by the Nabataeans. Over 2000 years ago, this industrious Arab civilization transformed it into a bustling hub for trade routes connecting various regions. From China and India to Egypt, Syria, Greece, and Rome, this city played a vital role in the exchange of silk, spices, and other valuable goods.

The city's entrance is a breathtaking experience, as visitors pass through the Siq, a majestic gorge that stretches over 1km in length. Towering cliffs, reaching a staggering height of 80m, line both sides of this remarkable pathway. Simply strolling through the Siq is an unforgettable experience.
