• Day 1 : Arrival in Cairo

•  Day 2 : The Great Pyramids and Memphis & Saqqara Tour

   

Begin your day with a delectable gourmet breakfast at your Cairo hotel. Shortly after, our certified tour guide will greet you to begin your Giza pyramids tour. We are delighted to assist you with transportation to explore the fascinating historical attractions:    
The Great Giza Sphinx, standing tall and watchful over the entire necropolis, was meticulously crafted from a single stone measuring 73 meters in length. Its majestic form, resembling a lion with human head attributes, embodies a powerful and intelligent symbolism.    
The Valley Temple: Situated directly in front of the Sphinx, this ancient temple was built for the ritual of the "opening of the mouth" for King Chephren, ensuring that his spirit could enjoy nourishment, sustenance, and effective communication in the afterlife.    
Memphis City: Prepare for a delightful 35-minute drive to the open-air museum, the city of Memphis. This ancient capital of the Egyptian empire, dating back 5000 years to the time of King Menes, holds a rich history and countless treasures. Immerse yourself in the wonders and masterpieces that have withstood the test of time.    
You will then be taken to the Saqqara necropolis, a truly remarkable archaeological site that is home to 11 royal pyramids and numerous Mastaba Tombs. These tombs were built for high-ranking officials, aristocrats, and nobles, many of whom were related to the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt. It is a place of great historical significance and beauty. You will be delighted to visit the Step Pyramid, an incredible architectural marvel constructed by the renowned architect Imhotep for King Djoser. This pyramid holds the distinction of being the oldest pyramid and the first-ever stone building in the world.    
After exploring the area, you can enjoy a delightful lunch at a charming restaurant nestled in the village of Saqqara. Later on, we'll explore Memphis, the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. This city played a crucial role throughout the Middle and New Kingdoms, and even during the Greco-Roman era of ancient Egypt's history.    
After finishing your unfinished tours in Giza, we will gladly arrange for your overnight stay at one of our own or a franchised hotel in Giza.

• Day 3 Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo Tour

• Have a delightful breakfast at the hotel to kickstart your Egypt Classic Tours. The certified tour guide will accompany and transport you today to the renowned Egyptian Museum, which is one of the largest in the world and houses a vast collection of Egyptian antiquities. Overflowing with a vast collection of over 120,000 items, this museum is a treasure trove waiting to be explored. Countless more artifacts are carefully preserved in the basement, adding to the rich history and wonder that awaits visitors. The most amazing pieces, though, are found in the separate collection that belongs to the golden pharaoh Tutankhamen.

  Day 4 Alexandria Tour

  Prepare for an exciting journey from Cairo to Alexandria, where you will be accompanied by a knowledgeable Egyptologist who speaks English. Immerse yourself in the wonders of Egypt with our Egypt Classic Tours package. Starting from Cairo, you will travel to Alexandria in a comfortable vehicle equipped with air conditioning. The drive typically takes around 2.5 hours, and there is a short break along the way for a quick rest.  
  When you arrive in Alexandria, get ready to explore the fascinating history that is hidden within this beautiful city. This place gets its name from its founder, Alexander the Great, who was the ruler of Egypt in 332 B.C.  
  Embark on your adventure by visiting the renowned Pompey's Pillar, an awe-inspiring monument built in 297 B.C. to honor the victory of the Roman emperor Diocletian. This triumph was accomplished through the effective quelling of a rebellion in Alexandria, showcasing his power and authority. Once, this place housed the largest library in the world. Founded by Ptolemy I in the early 3rd century B.C. in Alexandria, the city that bears its name provides breathtaking vistas of the Mediterranean.
